How can I manually add a FamilySearch ID to my profile?

+7 votes
The FamilySearch plug-in on this site isn't working for me. It's not getting any matches -- the wheel just keeps spinning while it searches (after I enter both my wikitree familysearch logins).

However, I know my FamilySearch ID. What's the proper way to add it to my profile? (I would repeat the same process for all my family once I build my family tree here).

Thank you,

Best answer & lastly: .

Example, look down the Right side Below where it says Research: = "L2FX-4C2" for the most wonderful mother a man could ever have: . :)

Unfortunately I have not learned where to post our wikitree link in her familysearch profile Yet? Those in the know please reply, TY ;)

P.S. I entered it manually.

Can this app be used on profiles being edited but not on your personal watchlist?  How?
Thank you, Rosemary and Sandy for your quick replies.

The link to add Family Search IDs manually is just what I needed. Thanks!

I haven't come across a field in FamilySearch that lets you do this. If you have an Ancestry tree of your own there are web links that you can use for this.

I just add it as a link: See this profile. It's open so you can copy and paste.

I get the URL for the profile by copying it from the browser and just pasting it in to the profile.
