obscure professions

I have had one or two obscure names for professions listed for various ancestors and I found this page which I found useful.

Some are quite straight forward but others are quite interesting. For example : ANTIGROPELOS MAKER A person who made waterproof leggings.

I came across bauble maker, also known as spar ornament maker - someone who makes ornamental objects from alabaster or bluejohn stone. This occupation was limited to a few villages in the East Midlands of England.
