How to color format individual cells in a table?

I'm creating a table of yDNA data and would like to color red, those columns for Faster Changing STR Marker as described at https://www.familytreedna.com/learn/project-administration/gap-reference/colors-y-dna-results-chart-heading/

What is the syntax?  I tried:

 || color=red | valueHere ||

But it had no effect.

Sienna might also work :)

MediaWiki supports

... || bgcolor=red | cell-text || ...

Pale colours preferred.

To change the text color, use WikiTree's own template, created by Rob Ton I think

{{Red|text}}

Red Green and Blue are available.

I found one solution, also adding bold, surround the cell text with a font directive:

'''<font color="DarkRed">385b</font>'''

There is no Wikitree "recommended" way to color a box, column or row in a Wikitree table.
