info on lacycocks of hamilton va in the 1940's

Trying to find out where the Laycock farm is where my grandfather worked in the 1940's, i know it's in hamilton va.

Try entering your grandfathers name and birth year (or estimated birth year) on familysearch.org and residence in VA to get the 1940 VA census data.  There are results there that show not only complete census data, but the images include the road/street, occupation etc.

The one below is an example – Family name: Laycock, listed occupation Farmer(s)

When you click on the actual image, it gives the road/streetlocation on the far left.
