What profile can be considered the model which all should try to strive to be like?

I'm new to editing and want to get going on the right foot. I'm looking for a prime example of a model profile that I can emulate the style of.

I've started using Abraham Lincoln, just as one of the first I have searched for that looks pretty good, but looking at the code I can tell that it could still be improved upon.

I'm sure most all profiles have some flaws on them.  Bjut bear in mind that WikiTree, being a volunteer organization, does not have all the bells and whistles of a commercial outfit.  But I'm sure the tech team would be happy to have another volunteer to help once you have a little experience here. meanwhile, feel free to start conversations here on g2g to discuss whatever you think it's important to air.  When I joined 5 months ago, I found a steep learning curve, but if you read the material under help and ask questions, it will go faster.  But I'm still finding things I didn't know existed here.

Thanks for the reply Dave. I think you may have misunderstood my meaning.

Indeed, all individual profiles are edited and maintained by volunteers, but there are examples of "Good" profiles that are organized, styled, and sourced very well (e.g. Lincoln-103). At the same time you can point to "Bad" profiles which were likely imported from a poorly maintained gedcom and never touched afterwards (I'm sure we've all seen examples of this, I'm not going to shame anyone).

What I'm looking for is an example of a profile that can be used as an exemplary model, that you can point to and say "This is how WikiTree should be done".

What's the best individual profile you have seen?

I believe that "model profile" can be an allusive beast. As an example I present the profile of Anders (Påhlsson) Leman (1757-1809). One on the curses of Swedish/Finnish genealogy is too much data. Writing a narrative profile seems impossible since I do not know Swedish and my understanding of their life style would be most inaccurate.  So my decision was to collect the data and present it in a logical, readable style. Anders lived in the Åland Islands which are in the Baltic Sea between Stockholm, Sweden and Åbo, Finland and I am interested because my father was born there in 1903. My plan is as follows

1. Give Anders' birth family including the order of all children.
2. Give Anders' birth information
3. When possible, list all residences
4. Give Anders' marriage data listing all children in order
5. Give death information

I then list the sources used, usually the Hiski Project, ArkivDigital, and Håkan Skogsjö. The specific references follow with appropriate links. For Anders this generated 17 footnotes. This model I use collects specific references and allows someone else to verify and expand.
