Death record for Sophia Schmidt probably Nebraska 1900?

Question

Previously asked question about g-g- grandmother Sophia Schmidt born ca. 1832 Germany, came to USA in 1869 with husband Joachim Schmidt. Looking to find her death record, could be 1900 Nebraska but can't find a record of it.

Thank you for getting back to me.  The only info I have is that Sophia's maiden name was Struebing.  On the ship arrival her and Joachim are listed with 2 children, Christian and Wilhelmina aged 3 and 1 years.  I do have them living in Illinois in 1870 and 1880 and Joachim was naturalized in Illinois in 1878.  He is listed as Joseph living with son Christian in Butler Co. in the 1900 census as a widow.  He died in Alberta in 1906.  Have his death record and gravestone.  I have word of mouth that Sophia died in 1900 in Nebraska.
