Can anyone help me know more about James Bruce, John Bruce, and Robert Bruce at Bruce & Co. New York City, late 1800's?

No, I can't, but I wish I could. The names resonate so strongly for me. The James, John and Robert Bruce that I know were brothers in southeastern Kansas in the late 1800s and early 1900s. (John Bruce there was my grandfather.) Their father was my first Bruce ancestor to immigrate from Scotland about 1852. For years I have been trying to locate where in Scotland he came from and which family he belongs to. Unfortunately, the Scots seemed to like the names of Robert, James and John and many of them used them over and over. Hope you find the info you're looking for.

Have you seen the Book of the Bruce? I found a version I could download here on WikiTree. There is a chapter call Bruces in America with talks about all three and includes some of their lineage.  It's far from complete but might be a good starting point.  I think my husband's family may trace back tot hem too since quite a few of the men were in the printing trade - but in the deep south, not New York. Interesting coincidence at the least.
