May I upload documents or photos I have found in my research

May I upload documents or photos I have found while doing research that are not my direct ancestors. That way maybe someone who is looking for that info might find them. If so how do I do it.

This will depend on the copyright restrictions for the country in which they were issued. e.g. The UK census images are copyrighted but not the data on the census. This means that transcriptions are OK but not the image.

You may have to create a profile for at least one person in each image.  Then you would upload that picture to that profile.  And then identify each other person in the image.

You could also add a free space page with all the images in it but I don't think that is very searchable.
