In 1900, Sarah J. Peoples, daughter and widow, was a daughter living with John A and Margaret Carroll in Precinct 14 Ewell's, Dale, Alabama.  The family consisted of: John A Carroll, a 46 year old farmer b. All were born in Alabama except Lennie, who was born in Georgia, as were Margaret's parents.  John and Margaret have been married for 26 years, and Margaret has had 19 children, 6 of whom are living.
