I completed the GEDCOM compare report.Doesn't this fill in my tree?

Question

How do I tell what step I am at please? I uploaded my GEDCOM and did the 'compare' and sent it for approval (I think?)

It's waiting for you to review it. click where it says "Please click here to review"  Then check match or reject matches, skip the profiles that need skipping and the click the big green APPROVE button at the bottom to import the gedcom

It can take a while as the GEDCOM approver has to spend some time testing it out and she may send you one or more things you need to make it acceptable.  So relax and work on part of you family which weren't on the GEDCOM.  In the long term the profiles you enter by hand probably won't take much if any more time than those you enter via GEDCOM if you take the requisite time to clean up the profiles produced.
