None of which proves that Dwight is Dewitt. But it helps to establish the family of Dwight and maybe prove that Dwight is Dewitt.

When Miranda A Pier is researched as "Ameila Pierce" there are considerable sources with "Dewitt" and "Buck" attached to their children.

Dewitts father was from Vermont and mother was from NY. Schyler parents were both from NY. Dewitt was bn abt 1844.Schyler was married 1857. So this don't look to good.  Thanks  Bill
