Who is included in error reports?

Hi

I had written and asked Aleš Trtnik , who was included and who was not in the error report

There are multiple duplicates that do not have dates, spouses, parents etc.. It is a way to keep control over ancestors. I guess I am asking if we can discuss how to reduce the number of duplicates. I am wondering how those show up,  errors or not?

The sex of my ancestor was changed from a woman to a man Dowden-47 married Sanford-956 after I asked for information from Aleš Trtnik. They are not even in the same time span,William Keen Sanford is born 1722, Winifred 1726, Martha Sanford 1867

I had the documentation on Sanford's page. The woman that Winnifred is shown married to has no documentation to click on, it goes to a blank ancestry page but yet the gender was changed without any consultation, Sanford-955. The woman that Winnifred is shown as being married to lived a century after William and Winnifred.

I'm looking for suggestions

Jenny

I think every non-private profile with an error is included in the error reports. Here is a description of most of the errors: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Database_Errors#Description_of_errors Some of the errors have to do with duplicates.

According to the change log, Winnifred and Martha have been attached as spouses since 2012 http://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Sanford-955&diff=6279387&oldid=0. I'm assuming Winnifred showed up in the error log because of error 403 Single sex marriage. There was probably no consultation before the change because the profile was unsourced and hadn't been updated since it was imported in 2012. But the way it was attempted to be fixed was incorrect.

Hi Jamie

I sent you a private message, your comments did not come to my email until just a few minutes ago. I sent a private message as a response to thank you and ask how should I have changed the information so it would be correct. I edited the marriage and removed the female that Winnifred was shown married to. I added some sources to document Winnifred was female

I would appreciate anyones suggestions on the correct way to put it back. The last time I had looked Winnifred was married to Thomas Sanford (Samford) and that was it
