Hugh, when you look at the Changes tab, you'll see that no merges have been done at all, so there's no need for concern there. As you are the profile manager, you would have been notified of any merge proposals, and would have the opportunity to reject them.
It appears from your note on the profile that one of your concerns is that another member made some changes without providing any sources. I would ask that member for those sources (if you haven't already). If there's no response, you would certainly be justified in restoring the original information.
