Shared Photo: Thomas Rothell

Question

Thomas played his banjo when no one was around.  The only way this photo could have been taken was to have quietly gone to the back of the house and "snap" quickly.

I wanted to share this family photo of Thomas Rothell with the community. Location: Liberty, Pickens, South Carolina. Date: 1935.

My husband spent a lot of time with them as a boy but, doesn't remember him doing much more than just picking his own tunes.
