Why doesn't my android phone display the profile link section of the g2g user?

When I click on the /g2g/user/ link for any g2g user, everything between User xxxxxxx and Activity by xxxxxxxx is missing.

I use this to get to the users profile link to get more detail about a question but it is not available because it is in this section.

I see the same thing on my Android phone. The heading "Recent Wikitree Activity" is there, but the content of that section is missing. However, I can easily get to the same content on my phone by clicking on the "contributions" link that appears above the person's badges.

Hi Ken,

Apparently some Android browsers aren't able to display "iframes."

Does it cause the same problem on merge comparison pages, e.g. can you see the two profiles here?

Hi Chris,

I can see both profiles next to each other.

HI Chris,

I use chrome on my phone but when I tried another browser (just called Internet on my Samsung Edge 7) it seems to work ok.

I tried creating an incongnito tab from within Chrome. I logged in and went to the same page. IT WORKED!.

Ken
I cleared my cache and it seems to have fixed the problem.

Thank you

Ken
I reopened the thread. The problem reappeared and clearing the cache did not solve the problem.

It has something to do with the url prefix "https://"

The following urls work.

but the following URL does not...

Once the first "https://" appears, it stays until I manually remove it. then it stays gone when I go from screen to screen.

I am not sure what caused the initial "https://" but it looks like a saved a web page with this prefix.  So when I thought it was gone, it reappeared when I clicked on the home page shortcut I saved.
