Preoblem is there are several Mathew Hanna,does not alway give middle

name. There is a Florida Travel list,Mathew Elting Hanna.U.S Minister

to Nicaragua,destination Washington D..C. Also one born in Cuba,this

one could be him,because he probably could speak Spanish,.

Do you know who he married,where he lived in U,S.A,Any info you have.

There is a Matthew Elting Hanna, Jr. born Sept 7, 1903, in Havana Cuba

(surprised me too). A record of this info is at:

It shows another Matthew Elting Hanna (the Senior) as his father, with them then residing in Connecticut.

Hint, it is about 1/2 way down that page on a US Passport Application. By the way, my grandmother, Florence Candace Hanna later on had a brother by the very same name born much later. .
