You appear to have connections with me. My gggmother was a Wilson. I noticed John H Wilson in the household and wonder if you have records showing that relationship. It would be helpful.

I have found a number of Wilson/McElveen connections by only skimming through "Find a Grave". The Wilson part of my family is mostly found in Oktibbeha, MS. and Coosa, AL. There are very old trails connecting these places and people.

I also noticed that two of Dicey's children married Fulghams. You may already know the Fulghams have a long history in the area. I have a Fulgham connection through a g-aunt, (my gmother's sister). Their maiden name was Betts.

I have begun to place my records on Wiki, slowly, learning the formats and double checking sources. So far I have not found John (H) Wilson in my records, but several John or Johnathans.  I also have not found your Fulghams, but have no doubt they will be located.

I stumbled across a connection today. According to the information on Dicey's Find a Grave Memorial: Dicey's parents are:

  William Alexander Phelps (1834 - 1889)
Martha Ann Latham Phelps (1835 - 1908) (they are our grandparents in common, where our family trees converge)

Their son:  John Lewis Phelps (1865 - 1956)* married  Mollie J Freshour Phelps (1870 - 1931)

Their son:  Melvin James Phelps (1891 - 1969)* (also listed as James Melvin) married  Ada Betts Phelps (1896 - 1929)*

Ada Betts is a sister to my gmother Clemmie, on my father's side.

As I said, you have many connections in the area. I came across this one when checking sources of another ancestor and remembered the name Phelps.

I hope this helps your search.
