Hi, this is the daughter of the original poster.
I see all the information you see, and *most* of it tracks. However, I am working from the 1890 US Census, which lists the following children:
Clara (now Lovegrove)
John 16y
Annie 18y (your "Hannah?", to distinguish from her mother?)
Linford 14y
Charles, 12y
Albert, 10y
Edith, 8y ("Ada" on yours?)
Eddie, 6y (would have been born in 1879)
Emma, 4y (born ≈1881)
And one (1) grandchild, Mable Lovegrove, 2y, born of Clara and her husband, Thomas.
The "Return of a Death in the City of Philadelphia, Physician's Certificate" for decedent Mrs. Hannah Ross Shirley shows death of Pneumonia on Jan 2nd, 1894 (physician N. Hiellman?), Undertaker at 2605 Jessup, 28th Ward, Buried 5 Jan 1893 (sic?) in Mount Vernon Cemetery. This is the same cemetery as the burial of Mr. John Shirley, her late husband, who pre-deceased her on 23rd March 1885.

The coincidence just seems too great!
