The auDNA testers listed on John Gunning's profile are more than likely to share some of his auDNA.

mtDNA, Y-DNA, X-DNA and auDNA are different types of DNA and have different paths of inheritance.

All children inherit mtDNA from their mother. Male children cannot pass mtDNA to their offspring. Female children pass the mtDNA on to their sons and daughters.
