Merge of 2 manager profile when manager cannot access one of her 2 profiles!

I have set a couple of merges and have encountered a problem of 2 profiles that are the same manager. The problem is that the profile manager couldn't access her original profile (I suspect that she has changed her email address) A second profile was started ;-( These two profiles cannot be merged as they require both managers to approve. Catch 22. The merge needs to be done backwards anyway as the profile manager can only access the newest profile. Meanwhile a number of profiles have been added to one or other of the now parallel trees so careful merging will be require after the initial problem is sorted out. As this involves passwords being changed can this be done via an open forum? I have both profiles names and now the new email address.

I resubmitted the request info at Wikitree with appropriate information.at the moment only the automatic reply at present. I have since noticed that one of the 2 profiles is as a guest. If I agree to elevate this profile to full member would it assist in the profiles merge I would then try to get the profile manager to either add me to her trusted list or add me as a manager. i have spoken on email and she finds Wikitree confusing ;-(
