Why can't Keeler-13 be merged with Keeler-756

I need help with a rejected merge of Ralph Keeler b: 1646 Keeler-13 and Ralph Keeler b: 1646 Keeler-756.
Keeler-13 shows an unnamed father Keeler and an unknown mother and the father of Rebecca(Keeler) Hickock. It uses A Genealogy of the Families of John Rockwell of Stamford, Conn., 1641 and Ralph Keeler of Hartford, Conn., 1639 by James Boughton as a source. This source clearly Identifies the father of Ralph (Keeler-13) as Ralph Keeler. It incorrectly lists his mother as Wid. Sarah Whelply Keeler. It does not identify his wife.

The merge I proposed of Ralph Keeler Keeler-756 into Ralph Keeler Keeler-13 has been approved. I have spent many hours trying to figure out this family. Ralph Keeler is my 10th GGF. Is there anyone willing to collaborate with me to correct this family. I don’t want to mess it up.As I mentioned previously the basis for this merge is the daughter of Keeler-13 Rebecca Keeler Hickock who married Ebenezer Hickock. Rebecca is the daughter of Ralph Keeler Jr. son of Ralph Keeler Keeler-12. One of the sources I am using is

“Keeler Family Ralph Keeler of Norwalk, CT by Wesley B. Keeler” at the following link https://archive.org/details/keelerfamilyralp00keel

Ralph Keeler Keeler-13 is shown as the son of Unnamed Father Keeler with no mother and the husband of Sarah (Unknown) Keeler. Ralph Keeler Jr. did in fact have a daughter Rebecca who married a Hickock therefore Rebecca’s mother is Grace Lindall Keeler.

Ralph Keeler Jr. Keeler-756 has the correct parents and a child Ralph who married a Jemmia Unknown. This is also found in “Keeler Family Ralph Keeler of Norwalk, CT by Wesley B. Keeler” .

Then Unnamed Father Keeler has to be merged with Ralph Keeler Keeler-12

Sarah Unknown Keeler Unknown-273521 has to be merged with Sarah Howes Skidmore Howes-337

Rebecca Keeler Pickett sister of Ralph Keeler Jr. is shown with the incorrect husband on the profile for Ralph Keeler Keeler-13. Rebecca actually married Benjamin Turney not James Picket. James Pickett actually married Ralph’s sister Elizabeth. Rebecca Keeler Pickett Keeler-649 needs to be merged into  Rebecca Keeler Hull Keeler-15 that has the correct husband.

Elizabeth Keeler Keeler-196  needs to be merged into Elizabeth Keeler Keeler-19

The James Pickett Pickett-1236 needs to be merged into James Pickett Pickett-41 who is the correct husband of Elizabeth Keeler.

Keeler-756 although unsorced, lists Ralph Keeler and Sarah Howes Skidmore as his parents and his wife as Grace Lindall. This is well documented in the following sources.History and Genealogy of the Families of Old Fairfield by Donald Lines Jacobus, Descendants of Edward Tre(a)dwell Through His Son John by William A. Robbins, Keeler Family: Ralph Keeler of Norwalk, CT., and some of His Descendants by Wesley B. Keeler and New England Marriages Prior to 1700.

Ralph Keeler (Keeler-756) married Grace Lindall about 1674 in Norwalk, CT. (New England Marriages Prior to 1700.pg 430. Ralph Keeler of Norwalk, CT., and some of His Descendants by Wesley B. Keeler page 6.)
They had 4 children Sarah m: Nathan Olmstead, Rebecca m: Ebenezer Hickock, Ralph b: 1685 and Ebenezer b: 1690 all born in Norwalk. ( Ralph Keeler of Norwalk, CT., and some of His Descendants by Wesley B. Keeler page 6. History and Genealogy of the Families of Old Fairfield by Donald Lines Jacobus page 356-357)

If we look at Rebecca Keeler Hickock (Keeler-356) the daughter of Ralph (Keeler-13) it shows the correct mother Grace Lindall.

The issue with Ralph Keeler (Keeler-13) and his wife Sarah Unknown could be a misinterpretation of A Genealogy of the Families of John Rockwell of Stamford, Conn., 1641 and Ralph Keeler of Hartford, Conn., 1639 by James Boughton where no actual wife is listed. This Sarah is most likley Sarah Howes Treadwell Whelpley Keeler Skidmore. Sarah Howes married first Edward Tredwell who died 1660. She married next Henry Whelpley 1660 who died in 1661. She next married Ralph Keeler in 1662 and finally married Thomas Skidmore. This is documented in all of the above sources.

I truly believe this rejected merge should be allowed. There is enough documentation to let it go forward and then I would like to know what happens to the  profiles od Sarah Unknown Keeler Unknown-273521 and Unnames Father Keeler Keeler-651. Do they need to be merged?

Keeler-13 has a source that refers to a will which names Ralph Keeler's wife as Sarah (dated 1672).

Keeler-756 has no source except Ancestry.com Public Trees.

To prove your point, I believe you will need something substantial to refute the documented evidence.

The source attached to Ralph's death Keeler-13 lists his wife as Grace

It appears to me that the two profiles were marked as a rejected match because they aren't obviously the same person, and neither profile had enough information or sources to allow a disinterested third party to ascertain that they are the same person.

Add your documentation (biographical details, with footnoted sources) to the lower-numbered profile, then remove the rejected match and propose the merge.
