How do I save a free space page that is unfinished that I plan to work on later?

I am making a free page that will take me a
couple of days to make. I have written the introduction and now
need to make a chart and input the information. I do not see how
to save the introduction but not have it published yet. My plan
is to now go to MS Excel to make the chart. Can you tell me
how to (1) save without publishing and (2) is there already a
blank chart that I can use without going to Excel?

You can use the Red or Black settings on the Privacy tab.
You can save the page, then change the privacy setting to Red-Private. Red privacy means no one else can see the content of the page.

If you are trying to format a table, go to http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:WikiTable_Formats for some table formats. (OK, there is only one page there at the moment. Maybe someone will add others.)

I think that changing the privacy to red for the time being will in effect stop publication.

One tip is to save frequently.I have not yet learned my lesson and have frequently found that my work has been lost for failing a check when I came to save it.

I've no idea about the excel  chart. I would be interested to know.  When I wanted to include a chart, I ended up making it in excel and then importing it as an image (but I'm not wiki language literate)

There is no privacy opportunity on the page. Please advise.
well - I lost my introduction - Is there any way to find it?
Well, you do need to save it first and it will then produce the regular toolbar which includes "Privacy" which will let you change the privacy level.  Free Space Projects are another sort of Free Space profile, so if that's what you have it should work the same.  If it's something else altogether, what is it?
