Help, I am searching for information regarding Abraham Resnick, born in 1887 in Lithuania. His wife my Grandmother was Bessie (Kadish / Kadeshewitz) they came to New York in 1907. Could you tell me where in Lithuania they came from and if my Grandfather had any brothers and possibly his parents names?

Thank you so very much,

Debby

What research have you done already so I do not duplicate what you know already ? If you know they came to New York in 1907, do you have their naturalization papers ? Or did you get the immigration year from a census ? I can help you but need more details like death date, exact locations in the city, ect.

I know current information about Abraham Resnick and his Wife Bessie (Bacha feiga Kadesiwitz) came from Lithuania in 1907 in 1908 they had a son named Benjamin Simon Resnick (Roesnick) who was born June 20, 1908 as far as the death all I have is 1913. He passed away in New York from Scarlet Fever.

They had a daughter born in New York, a daughter born in Englewood NJ and a daughter born in Cleveland Ohio.

If possible I would l love to know both their parents names and any siblings they both might have had and or any other information you have about both my Grandparents of whom I sadly never got to meet.

Grandpa Abraham born in 1865 passed away on April 24, 1941 Grandma Bessie was born in 1884 passed away on February 2, 1961.

I hope this information helps and that can help you provide me with the information I am searching for.

Thank you so very much,

Debby

I just joined WikiTree today and saw this reference.  I am researching my family history and know that my grandfather, whose name in America was, Morris Kadish, was born in Lithuania in 1889, and possibly emigrated from Riga Latvia.  I don't have any other information about his history in Lithuania.  He lived in Harrisburg, PA and ended up in New York in the 1920s.  He died in Los Angeles in 1946.
