Born 25 Dec 1874 in Middleton Lancashire. We have him in the 1902 Census as Harvey Welling (Father James -  Weaver Deceased)and a marriage certificate for Feb 1901 to Elizabeth May Bell(Father William - Policeman). 2nd marraige to Mary Ann Porter (Father Edward Casewell- victualer, widow of Henry Porter)on this  certificate Harvey gave his Father's name as Thoms Wellins Cotton Hand Loom Weaver - Deceased. Prior to that there is a Service Record for 1889, and he was in the Royal Garrison Artillery 1915 - 1917 and served in France. He died as an Army pensioner in Culcheth Hall, Newton Heath  Manchester on 28 Jan 1953.

At the time of his 2nd marraige he was a Fireman at the Chemical Works and lived at 83 Grant Street, Blackley. The witnesses of this marriage were Jesse John Barnes and Alice Clarke.

I am unablke to find any trace of him prior to this. Do not know if he had siblings or his mother name.

Does anyone know anything of this person?
