Grave photo request for a Civil War veteran-Rutherford County, TN [closed]

Hi fellow WikiTreers,

I would like to have a photo of the grave of my own personal Civil War hero (my 3x great-grandfather) to use here on WikiTree (I have some but they are copyrighted and unable to be shared), along with other relatives in the same cemetery.  It is the Hudson cemetery in Rutherford County, Tennessee. There are about 28 interments, many of them ancestors and relatives.  I am currently stationed in Texas with no immediate plans to come back home to Tennessee, and no family members there willing to photograph a cemetery for me.

Is there anyone out there able to photograph this cemetery, so we could use the photos here on WikiTree (for not only myself, but the cemeteries project as well)?  If so, please let me know.  You would be one of my favorite people forever.  Thank you!

I was looking for his service records.  I didn't see his name in the 55 Tennessee Infantry.  So I checked the 51st Tennessee Infantry and Fold3 seems to missing some records for the 51st Tenn.  There is another unit called the 51st Tennessee Infantry (Consolidated).  There was a Captain J. C. Hudson who was commander of Company F.  Company F was formed from companies F & G.  It may take more study to understand the relation of the 51st Regiment and the 55th Regiment to see if these two were consolidated into the new regiment.

Steve,  I don't have access to Fold 3 - I got his records from the National Park Service Civil War records, along with copies of the roster list from General Nathan Bedford Forrest's escort (Jackson's Company), that includes his name.  If you visit his profile, you'll see I have listed his units there.

Good to know you have his Service Records.  Fold3 is handy if you want to search for someone who may appear in more than one unit.  You said he also served in Forrest's Escort company.  That unit is sometimes hard to trace their history. From what I can tell, they obtained replacements from other companies over the years.  I'm interested in Forrest's campaigns in North Miss and West Tenn in late 63 and first half of 1864.  My ancestor was with Forrest and Jeffrey Forrest.  Let me know if you need any reference sources for battles during this time.

Steve

You can try to contact the websites or person(s) with the copy rights to the photo's and ask if you can use them giving credit to them. Find a grave some times has head stone photo's.
