In a One Name Study, could the category page be sorted in date order?

Not the entire Study, but groups within it.  For instance, I have 25 John BLAGDONs (and counting!), and it would be nice to be able to sort them so that they appear in birthdate order, rather than order of when they were incorporated into the Study.  So that John born 1730 is not followed in the list by John born 1640 and then John born 1820.

Is this possible? Please?

If the data is in a standard HTML Table, it's usually easy to import it into a spreadsheet and sort it however you want.
We've got the same problem with a Jones YDNA study.

I wonder if that can be done as well. It helps sort the folks with the same surnames. Actually what I have been doing is looking at my own "Surnames Genealogy" page as I have an unusual surname, and then I click on the birth date option to sort.

Yes, of course, that works beautifully.  But that is not a One Name Study.  It's a list of individuals with the same surname - which is not the same thing.  A One Name Study is a specific sub-project.
You are right, Ros. This method would not cover all the variations )-:
