New compare screen look or bug? Tabs now take up 2"x4"

+10 votes
When comparing profiles for merge, the tabs portion, that used to take up about 1/2"x4", now occupy a large 2"x4" area, bumping the data that needs to be compared down the page. Each tab has it's own full line. Can't imagine this is an intended change :(

I just looked at it as well, don't think it is a bug.

I don't really like it as it will mean a lot of scrolling to get to the important data.

I noticed the same thing today and agree that it will make things harder and take longer to work with merges, not good.

And it's not just the cmopare screen. When on a smartphone, it's on EVERY profile. Really not attractive...

Well that is a pain - hope they fix this soon.  Don't have a smart phone, but my new laptop w/Windows10 is not instantly responsive to scrolling - will take a vacation from merges till this is corrected.
It's not a bug, it was done intentionally to make the display look better on smartphones. :-)

Having it on the merge compare screen is an unintentional side effect (because the side-by-side display makes the profiles about the size you'd see on a smart phone screen, unless your monitor is huge).
Well, um, oops! it doesn't look better on smart phones. It results in more scrolling required. But thanks for thinking of us. Now if you could just solve the regularly-getting-logged-out / links-from-email-require-login-all-the-time-even-if-i'm already logged in problem with iphones...
