Where did the Von Holtz family immigrate to when coming from Germany in the late 1800's?

I'm trying to locate the parents of Emma Madolyn Von Holtz, born December 10, 1895, to immigrant parents from Germany (possibly Baden Baden).   Emma, known as Irma, married Ivan Leon Foster in Illinois in 1919?  They had a son by the name of Ivan Leon Foster, Jr.  Although I know of the Foster genealogy where she is mentioned, I cannot locate her genealogy.
