LNAB What if I don't know it?

I'm stuck at my Great Grandparents :(  I know my Great Grandparents names Max & Emma Matschullis.  But I don't know Emma's LNAB.  How would I enter her or would I have to wait till I can find that info?  I found a passenger list with her listed as well as her 3 children but her husband isn't listed and I can't find her Maiden name.  She is the mother of Ernst Matchullis...notice the name spelling change.

Put it in as unknown. It's obvious that this person existed, and you or someone else will come across her last name. Then you just change it and merge it into a new profile with the correct last name.

Hi Shane,

I understand from previous questions on the same subject that it is acceptable to use 'unknown' for LNAB as long as there is some other meaningful information relating to your person (Emma in your case). From what you have stated regarding her husband and their children I think you are OK to use 'unknown' for her LNAB.

Please spell it Unknown. Start with upper case U, rest of the letters lower case.
