Error report contains profiles not part of our ancestry

Question

I just tested the error report for my father and the report contains errors in the 8th, 9th and 10th generations of a family to which we have no links. In fact, my father's ancestors only go back 4-5 generatons.

It happened with my own profile as well. The links are to a family of Petche.

The link is through Alfred Free, shown with two wives.

I expect a lot of divorced 1st wives wouldn't be too keen on the idea that the 2nd wife is a family member.

Thanks, that makes sense. Alfred Free, convicted horse thief, was a widower in this case and wasn't divorced. My mistake was just looking at the direct lines.

And I'm FaceBook friends with the family from his 2nd wife.

True. For each generation I add both parents, children and spouces. That is the idea of Global tree. I could add an option to see errors of only ancestors or descendants but there wouldn't be many errors. You can decide, where to stop correcting errors. Soon you will be able to see also errors of profiles in your watchlist.
