Hi there is now a separate db_errors badge. I think I've given it to everyone who officially joined the project, but if I missed you, let me know.

UPDATE: 5/26/2016:

Let me point out that if you didn't ask for the Profile Improvement Badge before, I would have no way of knowing you were working on the project. So those of you who are asking now, I didn't forget you, but I didn't know about you.

The badge and the name have changed

Hi Anne,

Please could I have a badge, am doing a bit of all sorts with this project. But mostly clearing the small numbers that are left over at the end of each week, working through a generation or 2 from me into the global each week (on generation 19 now), using it to check after a big inputting session to check I didn't forget anything and planning to help more with the under 1500s records as just got my badge.

Hi Anne, how does one know if they've joined the project? Just because I've added the tag and have been making lots of corrections (to "my own" tree), but that doesn't mean I've joined the project? Sourcing is hard. I'm not sure I want to venture out beyond my own tree :(

To officially join a project you ask the leader of the project (in this case me) to give you the badge. If you've been working through the db_errors, http://www.sdms.si:92/wikitree/ShowErrors.htm even on your own tree, then you qualify for the badge. Although you can work on them without the badge. So ask if you'd like to join and I'll give you the badge.

Sourcing is hard, but it does gets easier, as you get more familiar with what's available. You also never have to wander past your own family.

Then yes, I'd like to join, if for no other reason than to get recognition for the work I've already been doing, so far :)

I do sometimes color outside the lines, because its so easy to get sidetracked :)

Hi Anne,
I've made corrections in my own line and now correcting some from my line that are orphans but I know the name and can make simple corrections.  I just renamed three unnamed infants, for example.  Not a badge collector as a goal but will take any that fit in the range of what I do anyway.

I'd like to join. I love the error report. It really has me thinking when everything looks fine, but there must be an error somewhere.

Woot ,woot guess what I'm back my brain tumor has been evicted and I am retired DNA tested and ready for Dr;s orders , was to do puzzles and mind games lol I know right where the biggest puzzle and Ancestry mind games here in this project  will please the all the members of the spirit world ,whom need some attention  let them know they are not forgotten as I visit  Ill weed the gardens and leave flowers or die trying. Please accept me officially  and please  add both Badges on my profile as I  have been working as a correction officer and data Dr since 1st day on wikitree one but now have time and mind, soul at hand! =) Thanks [[Fearn-75.]]|[[Linda May fearn]]
