Where can I put information about Military Service on someone's profile?

+9 votes
In working on this project for at least 10 years, I have discovered through the use of Ancestry.com as well as some other Genealogical sites that I have had several members of my family (on both sides) that have served in the military from at least as far back as the Civil War (Union and Confederate) to Vietnam and possibly later.  I think it is important to recognize these individuals as Veterans to help preserve the history of this country as well as family history.
