Do you know the first name that goes with the Hall maiden name? Would her husband's first name be available? Assume his last name is Wilkins and that Birmingham is the city in England and not in the one in Alabama.

A marriage record can have the names of both sets of parents.

Do you know the year that your grandfather died and the location? Was it in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England? If not where? Would there be a cemetery record?

Whilst there are two marriages of Wilkins/Hall in Birmingham 1934/1935, the marriage of George Wilkins & Doris A Hall, registered in Brimingham in the last quarter of 1934 seems the most likely.

The other was of a Raymond  H Wilkins & Eileen M Hall in the last quarter of 1935.

Only the birth certificate, which you can purchase, for Michael P Wilkins, naming both his parents will be the final evidence.
