I have a person listed as a child on a profile that should not be there. I am the PM but cannot see how to remove the person.

Is it Alonzo Newbury who is the wrong child or who has a wrong child?  In either case you can remove the wrong child by disconnecting the parent child relationship.  If at all possible leave the child alone otherwise or reconnect to the proper parents.  The easiest way to remove a child is to enter the wrong parent in edit mode, click the add/edit button under the children list on the right side of the page and it will pull up a normal new profile page, go to the bottom of the page and there will be  Remove x as child of Y and a list of the children.  Click on the child you want to remove and then the big green Remove Child from Y button.

Under the main headingss, under "Edit", go to Children and "add/edit". On entering this page, it will give you the opportunity to remove the child. Once removed profile is floating!
