Excise men England

Question

I have a John Trenerry, excise man, marrying in Great Torrington Devon in 1816. He is baptising children a few years later in South Molton Devon. His surname tells me he or his parents were Cornish, but I have no record of his birth (c 1780). Has anyone access to the Excise Record lists in the UK National archives? The surname could be misspelt- easy to do.
