My husband's half sister. His father was Raymond Douglas Harris born about the 1938 williamson co tn. Both of my husband's parent passed when he was a baby and he was adopted. We have always known about his sister but unable to find any information  we are not sure who here mother is.

That info is available thru the States Vital record or adoption agency,

Your husband will need to gather all his relatives info and have a Notary

'Public verify it,then either mail those, are go there. It is best to go there

in person,There are a few states that will not release those records.Plus

much depends on whether they are alive or deceased.

Thank you for your response.  My husband was adopted by his aunt and uncle after his parents passed. Stephenie was his father's daughter with a different mother. I haven't been able to find anything about her. My husband always knew there was a sister but I don't think his father was around her much. I won't be able to get any information from family. They didn't even remember her name. I found that in his father's obituary. I know she was from around the nashville area. It's so hard to find anything on females because the names change. Unfortunately I have hit a brick wall. Without knowing who her mother was it seems impossible to find anything about her.
