How is William Watson (c.1749-1815) of Southwell the grandson of Sir Beaumont Dixie?

Apparently his parents were the William Watson Esq d 1755 and Mary d 1784 here

I'm guessing William's mother was a Dixie, or else Mary was a granddaughter of Sir Beaumont.

That would make the major a great-grandson not a grandson.
