In 1900, Robt. S. Rader, a brick layer, was living in Justice Precinct 4, Dallas County, Texas, with his wife Ruby, a child, sister, and a boarder: Robt. S., 27, B VA Jan 1873; Ruby E., 22 b. TX Feb 1878; daughter India A., 1 b. TX July 1899; sister "Marie Jewell", 15 b. TX March 1885; boarder Camret C. Edwards, w4 b. TN.  Robert's parents were both born in TN. Ruby's father was born in GA and her mother in TX. (Marie Jewell's parents were the same places as Ruby's.)("United States Census, 1900," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M3L2-664 : accessed 30 May 2016), Robt S Rader, Justice Precinct 4, Dallas, Texas, United States; citing sheet 5B, family 93, NARA microfilm publication T623 (Washington, D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, n.d.); FHL microfilm 1,241,626.)

Thank you so much.  The daughter is Artie who was the oldest.  My mother, Mary Julia Rader Christopher was born in Dallas but this is the first I have heard of any of the details.  I have lots of details on my grandmother Ruby E but nothing on my grandfather Robert Stuart Rader.  He was indeed a bricklayer and a good one at that since he did the corners on many courthouses in Texas.  This is the first information I have seen on his parents being born in TN.  I had thought since he was apparently born in VA and died in Radford, VA around 1908.  I have not found his grave.  Mary, brother Robert Benjamin, and Ruby E are all buried in the Upper Melrose cemetary in Nacogdoches, TX.

I have info and a pic of the family if i can figure out how to make it available..
