William Bradford (1739-1794) signer of Bush Declaration in Harford Cnty, Maryland, married Sarah McComas(1745-1813). How was he related to the Bradford's on the Mayflower? Family stories going back 3 generations claim he was a descendent of William Bradford of the Plymouth/Mayflower.

There are a number of books, Mayflower Families in Progress that are published by the General Society of Mayflower Descendants. They cover at least four generations, so the William Bradford book would indicate whether the William Bradford born 1739 and who died 1794 is a descendant.

A genealogical department of a good sized library would likely have the answer to what you are looking for.

Mary Archer who was a Swedish descendent from Johann Grelsson in New Sweden (now Delaware River Valley in PA, NJ and DE) . I am a descendant of William Archer who served as a Private in the Revolutionary War and am a member of the Swedish Colonial Society by showing descent from Johann Grelsson. SInce John Morton (signer of the Declaration of Independence) had a mother named Mary Archer who was of from this  Archer line ( though not a direct ancestor to me), if you have your DNA analyzed you should be able to discover to discover if you are a descendant from Mary Archer and Morton Mortensson and John Morton.
