William M Maxwell - b: 1847 Canada. Married Martha Cumberland in Dec 1878 or 1881. They have 4 children: Edward Oscar 1881; Eben John 1882; Elizabeth B "Lizzie" 1884; Preston W (possible surname of 2nd husband - Stapleford) 1889. Looking for Williams parents (father James) and Grandparents.

Guess I should have said i needed his mother's name and the name of his grandparents. His father's name is James MAXWELL, not Cumberland, Cumberland is the name of Martha's father whose name is William Cumberland, and her mother is Bridget Templeton.

I need information on Mother of William M Maxwell, and Williams grandparents, both maternal and paternal.

What I am looking for is William's mother's name (wife of James Maxwell, and the parents of James Maxwell. I have the Marriage Record that you are getting your information from. I need to go back 2 generations on the Maxwell side.
