Help with early Bellinghams of Tynedale and Westmoreland

I need help with early Bellinghams of Tynedale who eventually moved to Westmoreland ... and may or may not be ancestors of Richard Bellingham, governor of Massachusetts(?).

Some context...

For the last few years, I keep running into this line and have tried to piece together what we have on WikiTree ... but I've ran into too many conflicts with sources. So I'm hoping some Bellingham experts can help source or correct, etc... If you can't edit profiles in the line, please at least post comments wherever you can, if willling.

Based on WikiTree profiles ... it looks like the earliest member we have a profile for is William Bellingham. Berry (1830), seems to call him "John".
WikiTree profile: William de Bellingham

I found several Bellingham's but I don't know if you can use them. I found an Alan Bellingham born c.1517- 78. There are several more including Edward Bellingham b.c 1545-1605 of Putney, Surr. and Woodmancote and Ovingdean, Surr. also Henry Bellingham b.c 1564-1637 - Chichester,Suss.

William Bellingham  - b.c1755-1826 of Coleshill,Herts.

Alan Bellingham b.c.1656 - 93 of Levens,Westmoreland.

There are several others and also some other information that it is too numerous to write. However, the site that you may need is the

www.historyofparliamentonline.org. I hope this will help. And if you need any other help. send me a message thru wikitree. Thanks, Nancy
