correcting a pre 1500 date.

I require help in correcting a pre-1500 date, it should read 1937 not 1035. The profile is Catherine Creilly/ Dobbin-85

What profile are you asking about? The profile http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/John-78 is a Private profile, and you aren't the profile manager, so I'm guessing that you are asking about some other profile.

This is a private profile e.g. shown with a red lock on top right side of the profile page.

There was a reply to your original question in 2015:

As it's private and year of birth is in the 1930s it will remain private, did you add a death date of 1035?  If you did you will need some additional help - pre-certified 1500 and possibly admin as it is 'private'.

Yes, when a private profile includes a date that places it off-limits to editing by the profile manager, you need a sysop to fix it.

Retag this question for WikiTree Tech instead of Policy and Style and change the title of the question to indicate that this is a pre-1500 date on a private profile.

Hi TC. the profile is Catherine  Creilly Dobbin-85. I have created some confusion by omitting the profile id. I have changed the privacy setting on the profile.

I can correct the profile date but the profile is set for privacy and you will have to open the privacy setting or add me to the trusted list for [Dobbin-85| Cathie (Dobbin) Crielly] if this is the profile you are referring too.
