Which Ann Philbrick married Stephen Berry in 1716?

+7 votes

Stephen Berry indisputably married Ann Philbrick. Some sources give her parents as Thomas and Mehitable (Ayres) Philbrick, while others give her parents as Joseph and Tryphena (Marston) Philbrick.

The second Ann, daughter of Thomas Philbrick is [[Philbrick-402 | Ann Philbrick]]

I've added all the good sources I can find to the Research Notes section for Ann.

In my opinion, based on the names of Stephen and Ann's children, it appears more likely to me that Ann was the daughter of [[Philbrick-129 | Joseph Philbrick]].

Does anyone have any further information that might shed light on Ann's parentage?

Update:  After doing more research, a marriage for the other Ann Philbrick has surfaced: An Ann Philbrick married John Sleeper-177 in Kingston, New Hampshire in 1712. John's birthdate was in 1690. According to the American Genealogical-Biographical Index, as well as Family Data Collection Individual Records, the Ann Philbrick that married John Sleeper was born in 1690-1, and her father was Thomas Philbrick. These last two sources aren't ideal, but they add to the picture.
