I am looking for the father of Capt. William Joseph Sharp who was born in 1760 in Bourbon County, Kentucky. I have as his wife a Josephine Bastillio who also has a DOB:1760 and a marriage date 1793. Would like to verify this info and find his birth father. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have spent two solid weeks, day and night, trying to answer this exact same question!  It's my brick wall and is driving me nuts.

You now have 160 views, but I don't see any help except for one person.

His wife, btw, is also listed elsewhere with the maiden name Mary Josephine Green (9FST-MZQ) in some places and whose father is shown as Mathias Matthiasson Lundgren (L28T-BPP).  So what's her real maiden name?

Maybe I'll get lucky for both of us....

This may or may not help:

I found a Pedigree Resource File in FamilySearch.com that named a Joseph Sharp, born 1760 in Bourbon, Kentucky, died 1805 in St Helena Parish, Louisiana.  He was married to Josephine Bastillio, born 1760. He had a son, Joseph (1794-1866) who married Sarah H. "Sally" Spell, according to this file.  Another son, William Fritz (1796-1881), who married Nancy Josephine Spell, is listed.  I also found Joseph in RootsWeb.  No parents were named and he was not called Captain.  Nor was he called Joseph William.

These files are not always totally correct, however.  These resources do list this same information in both of them.
