I Am Trying To Determine My Thomas Line So That I Can Continue My Research .

Question

 

I am trying to determine my Thomas Line....Below are records that I have gathered....The first is for my Grandfather Aldus H. Thomas born 8/17/1904 in Orangeville , Ohio....The second shows him in 1905 living with his Maternal Grandparents Bennett F. and Grace M. Kellison in Kingsville ,Ohio....The third shows my Great Grandfather Floyd H. Thomas remarried in 1930 and list him as being born in  1884 in Jamestown , Chautauqua , New York....** This is where I need help....I need to determine who my Great Great Grandfather was so I can continue my research....It is confusing because I have addition older records showing the Thomas surname in both Orangeville and Kingsville , Ohio as well as Jamestown , Chautauqua , New York , which I will add at the end so I was thinking that one of those might be my Great Great Great Grandfather and Great Great Great Great Grandfather....Any help that could be provided would be Greatly Appreciated !....Thank You !....Regards ,

Check out this 1880 US Census for Watts Flats, Chautauqua, NY. The same birth year for Howard S. Thomas married to Nettie L. Thomas and possibly Floyd H. Thomas' older siblings. Maybe Nettie L. in the 1880 US Census is the same person as Arametta  L. in the 1910 US Census in Chautauqua, NY.

That was how I originally traced my Thomas Line....I will have to ask my Aunt if my Great Grandfather had siblings....However , with the Thomas name also in Orangeville & Kingsville Ohio where my Grandfather was born and lived  , I feel there has to be a connection to those Thomas individuals as well....Thank You !....Your help is Appreciated.

I thought it was interesting that in the 1880 US Census, Howard S. Thomas' father was shown to have been born in England and Howard Thomas' mother was b NY.

I still need to find a connection between George Thomas born 1824 in Orangeville, Trumbull, Ohio and Charles Thomas born 1860 in England and died in Kingsville , Ohio in 1902 , IF it exist....I'm not doubting the Jamestown, Chautauqua, New York connection , because my Aunt said my Great Grandfather Floyd H. Thomas .
