Was Thomas Coote ever married to Bess Marsh?

Question

I am in the process of cleaning up my Gedcom import and re-sourcing to free resources as I go along. I started on profile [[Coote-262|Thomas Coote]]. Everything was fine until I went to enter his marriage details. I hit a brick wall, and cannot find any record anywhere of him marrying [[Marsh-4555|Bess Marsh]] They supposedly had a son [[Coote-279|William F. Coote]] born 1912. Death certificate for Bess bears the surname Coote and William's birth certificate has Marsh as his mother's maiden name. Only reference I can find for a Coote marrying a Marsh is Thomas J Coote and Lillian Marsh in 1963. The original information I got from 1 Ancestry tree where the owner has photos attached to both Thomas and William (and william's wife) on their wedding day. I am awaiting his response to my request for further information.

If anyone has any ideas or solutions to this brick wall they would be greatly received and appreciated.

From Grandson,Lillian Marsh was married too William Frederick Coote.

She did have a previous relationship.The Grandson ,says his mother would

never tell whether she was married or had a relationship with first time,

had a daughter Ruby Victoria,adopted son Brian Bennett,but took Coote

surname.Also a Leonard Coote who was blind,who became an

accomplished pianist.William F. Coote was in military WW2,but i do

not have Force War Records WW2.There is a picture,many people all

military. deptfordwright on Andestry has his tree.I could not send too

Thank you so much Wayne, I just also received a reply from the Ancestry people which confirm your findings also. It seems that with your help I now have found a distant relative that lives quite close to me :)

I have contacted A Coote,Has pictures of him online.Will see if he has

information.Some original marriage certificate have mother full name,

and sometimes father.But you would have to order ,and pay a fee too

get it.
