Presently researching this family because I believe it to be a branch of the family Albini and nearly related to the family le Tyes, hereditary clerks of the king's chamber and chantry. Among Gilbert's sons we find the king's clerk Richard de Meath and his brothers Henry de Walton and Hugh de Thingwall.
