This book by John Kelly is about the potato famine in the mid 1800s in Ireland and about the emigration to Canada and the USA.  The title is a reference to the emancipated people of Ireland who looked like the had just emerged from a grave and started walking ...

Hi Ken,

No not read it.  Have visited Ireland many times, both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.  While visiting done various tours, museums etc.  All extremely interesting.

Have not read it, but will seek a copy - thank you for the heads up.  Just finished Immortal Irishman by Timothy Egan, that begins with that time period in Ireland.  Excellent read.
