Information on Joseph Franklin Thayer

Question

Hello,

I am looking for any info or suggested places to search for info on Joseph Franklin Thayer, born 1852 in New York. Married Emma L. Roberts in Michigan. Emma and him raised their children there and died there.

His father was Joseph Thayer who may have also been born in New York and married a Hannah Seymore.

I have it a brick wall when it comes to Joseph and Hannah. Starting to think the information or documents could have been transcribed wrong as I have found literally nothing past them.
