Thanks Tina! I hope records appear online so we don't have to write to the churches. But it is always good to know how to ask for what we need when it isn't online. :)

I am finding good records for Alia, Sicilia for the 1800s, with references to the 1700s. But no documents for the 1700s yet. I think the Palermo diocese has been released but I will need the Diocese of Cefalu.
Antenati does not have Palermo. Bummer!

Familysearch dot org has a lot of Sicilia however it is all in Italian.

I am using the Atti di Morti, Atti di Matrimoni and the Atti di Nascita for Alia with good results. It is not digitally indexed, but you can find the handwritten indexes  at the end of each year's book, or use the Indices Decennales.
